Topic: Ms. White
Fact1: The Bible has the full gospel. Everything one needs to know to understand God and be saved.

Fact2: Our doctrine was compiled through study using the information they had at the time. Not through visions of E. G. White though her visions confirmed some of them.

1. Since the Bible has ALL that we need for everything why do we need to read Ms. White? Even doctrine was compiled without her writings and most (if not all) were already 'discovered' by different faiths since the reformation.

Is Ms. White (in practice) our final source of interpreting ure (laymen)?

Statement: If she is, then she is on par with the ure or above it!

Statement: Since of doctrine was compiled through study, through study with current information it can be repudiated. If that were to ever happen we cannot (should not) say well Ms. White said so.

What is your AIM is bringing this topic, Damian? As a matter of fact, are you SDA or not? Do a check on the 28 fundamental beliefs of the SDA Church (GROUP OF PEOPLE BELIEVING IN AND FOLLOWING GOD, THE CREATOR) and you please pay particular attention to Fundamental belief # 18 or somewhere there about. I hope you will be clarified on Mrs EG White's Writings in there conext as the Spirit of Prophecy (Revelation 19:10 and 12:17). see also http://www.whiteestate.org/issues/videoDOThtml May God bless you all and kind regards. === Original Message === Fact1: The Bible has the full gospel. even sister white "says" that we are not to say that she said. SM book 1 or 2 in a chapter called . the primesy of the word. eg white writings are not to be taken above the word. her are the lesser light. but we have to consider this, if the word of God says that the remnant church has the spirit of prophecy, or a prohet, we must be careful not to be found kicking against the pricks. israel of old has never loved or apreciated their prophets, and israel today is no diffrent. God dose not inspire people to write thing that are to be taken lightly, and she was inspired.
she has written more books than any one male or female in american history. and is the most published female writer in history.
now i am going to say wat you said we should not say. sister white said if our lives were what they should be we would never need to read her books.
last but not least, if the bible is right in saying that GOD'S remnant church is to have a prophet, and it is. the statement that you have put on the internet implying that eg white the prophet of the remnant church's writings are of little or importance, you are now in a position where you are fighting GOD. REMEMBER THAT THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY IS A BIBLE DOCTRIN NOT E.G. WHITE. ALL SCRIOTURU IS GIVEN BY INSPERATION OF "GOD"

As far as the information I have Ms. White is the prophet of the remnant church. There are two reasons for the question above?

When teaching scripture to non-adventist we say solo scriptura (the Bible only). We teach that our teaching follow the Holy Bible and your institution does not.

How does one introduce Ms. White after saying that our findings are based on the Holy Bible? (this is the easy question)
New converts profess (even though some don't even know who she is) that they believe in the Spirit of prophecy and that this gift was given to the church in the person of Ms. White. To be a Christian or SDA is that necessary?
What do we really mean by lesser light?
If it means her writings illuminate what we know about the Holy Bible is the above profession necessary for a convert?
Sorry if my question offends anyone?
